Concert Band Camps
The Concert Band Camps are designed to develop musicianship skills for middle school and/or high school aged students. We focus on hiring outstanding staff to coach sectionals, master classes, as well as offer outstanding ensemble experiences. Students perform in various small and large ensembles including jazz ensemble. We also break the day up with recreation and unique workshops. Leadership Camp
Leadership Camp
The Metro-Capitol Leadership Academy is designed to develop leadership and teaching skills within the concert band and marching band arts. The camps focus on training section leaders, drum majors, future leaders, and the overall leadership team. Besides their leadership abilities, students will learn how to run rehearsals, sectionals, conduct, teach their peers, and study their score/parts. Whether your school has a competitive marching band, non-competitive marching band, or only concert bands, this camp will develop your entire leadership team for success.
